OSSBuy notices, and this logbook's own change record

Official announcements summarised with what they meant for an open order, what readers report in OSSBuy's community channels, and our own dated change log.

Official notices in 2026

OSSBuy publishes holiday schedules, route news and events on its notice page. Seven were live when we last read it. Holiday notices are the ones that matter for planning: the warehouse keeps receiving parcels on some closed days but stops inspecting, photographing and dispatching.

Current offer: half-price shipping

On 24 October 2026 the OSSBuy home page opened with a pop-up advertising half-price shipping without a minimum spend, valid from 18 May to 31 December 2026, and the estimator was applying a half-price discount to the weight charges on every line we priced. The fixed handling charge was not discounted.

Offers end. The planner shows both prices and tells you which one applies to your dispatch dates.

Discord, Reddit and what we could read there

We looked at the two community links OSSBuy publishes. The Discord invite card for the server named Ossbuy showed 2078 members with 240 online on 24 October 2026; that is where the April launch giveaway and the August event were run. The r/OSSBuy subreddit's public feed returned no posts to a logged-out reader on the same day, so we cannot summarise reports from there.

We have not placed an OSSBuy order for this handbook and we do not quote shopper reviews we cannot check. When reports from either channel can be read and dated, we will summarise them here with links.
