The quick answers, the words you will meet in the OSSBuy account screens, and where to take each kind of problem.
One problem, one route
- A question about one order: the Contact button on that order reaches OSSBuy's buyer; replies are promised within 24 hours.
- Anything else, any hour: online chat from the help centre, stated as available round the clock.
- By email: [email protected] for customer service and authenticity complaints; [email protected] is named in the Terms for refund questions.
- Peers: the OSSBuy Discord server and the r/OSSBuy subreddit.
- A mistake on this site: [email protected]. We cannot act on OSSBuy orders.
Account vocabulary, from rehearsal to PI number
A short glossary of the terms you will meet in OSSBuy screens and in shopper forums.
- Agent
- A service that buys from Chinese sellers on your behalf and ships abroad. OSSBuy is one.
- Spreadsheet
- Here, a product catalogue you can browse by category, with links you paste into an agent.
- QC photos
- Quality-check photos the warehouse takes when an item is stored; OSSBuy describes three to six fixed angles.
- GL / RL
- Two forum abbreviations you will see under QC photo posts: GL is approval to send the item on, RL is a request to fix, swap or return it.
- Rehearsal
- OSSBuy's name for a paid dry run: pack, weigh, measure, unpack. CNY 20.
- Volume weight
- Billed weight for bulky boxes: multiply the sides in centimetres, divide the product by 8000, and compare with the scale.
- Line
- One OSSBuy shipping option: a carrier, a price table, weight and size limits and a transit range.
- First weight and steps
- The price for the first 500 g, then for each further 200 g.
- Fill and Buy
- The DIY Order form for listings OSSBuy cannot read automatically.
- Supplementary payment
- An extra charge set by the buyer when the seller's price or courier fee differs from what you paid.
- PI number
- The item number under each barcode in a parcel, starting with PI, needed for claims.
- Forwarding order
- Your own parcel sent to the OSSBuy warehouse, registered by tracking number.

Is ossbuy.co the OSSBuy website?
No. This is an independent handbook. The OSSBuy website is ossbuy.com, run by PROSPERA FORTIS INFLUENCE LTD. We have no access to your OSSBuy account or orders.
Can OSSBuy buy from Weidian?
Yes, by pasting a Weidian listing link; the Beginner's Guide names Taobao, Weidian and 1688. Keyword search inside OSSBuy only gathers Taobao and 1688 results.
How long until my order is placed?
OSSBuy's service table promises a reply inside six hours when you pay during its 09:00 to 18:00 Beijing working window, and by 14:00 the following day otherwise.
How long is storage free?
90 days from the status Stored. Then 30 days marked Expired, then disposal. Extensions are sold in 30-day blocks.
Can I return something after seeing the photos?
Within five days of storage, under the no-reason policy, for CNY 5 per order plus postage, unless the item is in an excluded group such as custom-made goods, socks or food.
Why did my freight change after paying?
The amount paid at submission is an estimate. After packing and weighing, OSSBuy settles the difference against your balance.
Does the warehouse test electronics?
No. Staff look at the outside and count accessories; nobody switches the device on.
Which line is cheapest?
It depends on country, weight and date. Use the Estimation page or our planner with the snapshot from 24 October 2026, and expect the cheapest lines to be the slower ones.
Is there a discount for new users?
We could not confirm a current new-user gift. On 24 October 2026 the site was advertising half-price shipping until 31 December 2026.
What happens on Chinese public holidays?
Purchasing and warehouse work pause; customer service keeps answering. OSSBuy posts a notice before each holiday.
