OSSBuy profile: the operator, the service and its limits

What OSSBuy is, who runs it, what it promises in writing, how to judge whether to trust it, and when another agent may fit you better.

OSSBuy in one paragraph

OSSBuy (written OssBuy in its logo) is a shopping agent at ossbuy.com for buyers outside China. You send it a Taobao, Weidian or 1688 listing; its buyer orders from the seller; the item is delivered to its warehouse in Guangdong, checked and photographed; and when you are ready the warehouse packs your stored items into one international parcel. It also accepts forwarding orders, where you send your own parcels to its warehouse and register the tracking numbers.

The site is in nine languages, shows prices in 21 currencies, and its first public notices date from April 2026, when it ran a launch giveaway on Discord. Its mascot is a blue rabbit in sunglasses, which appears in its videos and on most of its pages.

PROSPERA FORTIS INFLUENCE LTD and its contact routes

The contact page names the operator as PROSPERA FORTIS INFLUENCE LTD, company number 16507560, at 7 Copperfield Road, Coventry, England. Customer service is offered through round-the-clock online chat and [email protected]; [email protected] is for partnerships. The anti-counterfeiting policy also gives [email protected] for authenticity complaints.

Community channels listed on the same page are a Discord server and the r/OSSBuy subreddit; a Telegram button sits on every page of the site. On 24 October 2026 the Discord invite card showed 2078 members, 240 of them online.

Reasons for OSSBuy, and reasons against

What every agent does is the same in outline: buy for you, store, photograph, consolidate, ship. What OSSBuy adds that you can check in writing:

  • A named company registered in England, with its number published.
  • A service table with response times, seller follow-up intervals and refund timing.
  • A five-day no-reason return door after storage, at CNY 5 per order plus postage.
  • Rehearsal: a measured dry run of a parcel for CNY 20.
  • A compensation table per route group, published as part of its after-sales policy.

Reasons to look elsewhere: you want the lowest service charges (a 10% technical service fee is written into the Terms of Use for recharges, orders and freight, more than agents that advertise none); you ship to Australia, Brazil or Switzerland, where the estimator offered no line on the day we checked; or you prefer an agent with a longer public track record, since OSSBuy's notices only go back to April 2026.

Written rules worth checking at any agent

Trusting an agent with money is easier when its rules are written down. Five checks:

  • Can you name the company? A registered name and number, as OSSBuy publishes, can be looked up in a public register.
  • Are the rules written down before you pay? Storage days, return windows, fees and compensation should be pages you can read without an account.
  • Do the written rules agree with each other? OSSBuy's mostly do; the transit table and line quotes differ, and one compensation cell gives two caps. Small conflicts are normal; large ones on money are not.
  • Does it hold your money in a balance you can withdraw? Check the withdrawal option exists before topping up.
  • What does it say about counterfeits? OSSBuy's anti-counterfeiting policy forbids buying them and lets it refuse orders and suspend accounts.

Superbuy, CSSBuy, Sugargoo, Kakobuy and the rest

Readers comparing OSSBuy with other agents usually look at older names such as Superbuy, CSSBuy, Sugargoo and Kakobuy, and at newer platforms built on shared software. They all follow the same buy, store, inspect and ship pattern; they differ in service charges, which lines they run to your country, how long storage is free and how claims are paid.

Compare them on those four points with each agent's own pages open side by side, using one parcel weight and one date. We do not rank them and we have no figures for them on this site.

What OSSBuy says about counterfeit goods

OSSBuy's Anti-Counterfeiting Policy bans counterfeit purchases outright and makes it the buyer's responsibility to buy only authentic products that are legal in their country. If an order is judged to be for inauthentic goods, OSSBuy may decline it, suspend the account and related accounts, withhold funds and dispose of the goods at the buyer's expense. Its prohibited and restricted purchase list names counterfeit and pirated goods.

This handbook follows the same line. The shelves and the practice basket avoid branded listings where the catalogue allows it, and we do not discuss how to buy branded goods.
