OSSBuy shipping lines, transit times and parcel rules
Entries eight to ten in detail: how the estimator prices a line, what each line refuses to carry, how long the published transit windows are, and the packing choices that change the bill.
How the Estimation page prices a line
The Estimation page on ossbuy.com asks for a destination, a product category, a weight in grams and, optionally, length, width and height in centimetres. It returns every line that will take that parcel, with transit days and a price. On 24 October 2026 every line priced the same way: a first-weight charge for 500 g, a step charge for each further 200 g or part of it, and a fixed handling charge.
Volume weight multiplies the box's three sides in centimetres and divides by 8000, and the heavier of real and volume weight sets the bill. A carton measuring 40 × 30 × 15 cm counts as 2.25 kg even with two T-shirts inside, which is why removing shoe boxes and shop packaging matters more than it seems.
A line for each destination, priced for one kilo
These are the cheapest-looking line per country in our snapshot for a 1,000 g parcel, so you can see the shape of the prices; your parcel, category and date will differ. The half-price figures applied while the offer ran to 31 December 2026.

At weights between 500 g and 5 kg the estimator returned no line for Australia, Brazil or Switzerland on that day. The US lines and the Canada lines stopped at 5 kg; the UK lines went to 19 kg and the self-operated DHL lines into Europe to 25 kg or more.
Published transit times, two versions
OSSBuy publishes transit times in two places, and they do not agree. The help centre's logistics instructions list working days per country: United States 10 to 15, Canada 10 to 20, Mexico 10 to 17, Brazil 18 to 27, United Kingdom 10 to 12, France 9 to 12, Germany 10 to 12, Spain 9 to 12, Poland 12 to 14, Japan 9 to 15. The line quotes on 24 October 2026 gave 10 to 13 for the USA dedicated line, 7 to 15 for the UK Line and 13 to 20 for the DHL-Fast line into Germany.
We treat the line quote as the better guide because it is tied to a specific route, and we use it in the planner. The warehouse adds one to two days of packing before either clock starts.
What the lines will not carry
- USA dedicated line: no liquids, powders, knives, health products, medicines, drones, standalone batteries or perfumes. Last mile by USPS or UNIUNI; undeliverable parcels are not returned to China.
- US Dedicated Line - Battery Included: the route for items with built-in batteries; still no perfume, liquids, food, medicine or loose batteries.
- UK Line: delivered by Royal Mail; a similar list of refusals. The UK Line - TH variant refuses standalone batteries only in its note.
- Self-operated DHL lines into Europe: cleared in the EU and handed to DHL in Germany; the address must carry the exact house number, and returns go back to OSSBuy's overseas warehouse, not to China.
- Canada Line: Canada Post or a partner carrier; no charged, magnetic, liquid, powder or gas products.
Food has its own channel since April 2026, with packaging and labelling rules in the notice. Separately, the special-items disclaimer says the warehouse removes essential oils, care liquids, lubricants, batteries and glue from parcels to keep them shippable.
Box, bag or bare: packing at submission
Before paying freight you can rehearse: for CNY 20 the warehouse packs your selection, weighs and measures it and unpacks it again, normally within 24 hours, with a small free allowance each month. It is worth it the first time, or whenever a parcel includes something bulky.
At submission the packing screen offers removal of all original packaging, carton or bag packing, reinforcement and insurance. Removing packaging is final and the confirm dialog warns it can affect after-sales checks. Insurance changes the claim route and the compensation table; the details are on returns and claims.
